How to Use Your Shadow Properly / Jordan Peterson

The Shadow  is a gift for those who know how to shadow play. To enlighten yourself on where your shadow lie, notice the way others work your nerves and locate the feeling of this shadow in your own actions. (And to see where your secretly shine, discern the behaviors you admire in others).

Wholeness and transparency  are not achieved by escaping or expunging one's nature, only by embracing and integrating all parts of ourselves, good and bad. Today, whenever turning towards another in contempt overshadows your thoughts, tell yourself in truth, "I have done that too," and remember when you have. Then, offer compassion and forgiveness to you and the the other person.

Dance/Movement Therapy: Authentic Movement

"The body is the home of feeling; the house of memory. To heal, we need access to it." ~ Tina Stromsted, Ph.D., BC-DMT

In this ADTA Talk, Tina Stromsted shares how "Authentic Movement helps us recover forgotten, denigrated and repressed aspects of the self [that] remain buried until conditions are nurturing enough to allow them to surface and grow." Stromsted eloquently describes the process of Authentic Movement, the relationship between mover and witness, and how Authentic Movement is used clinically in dance/movement therapy.
